Aubade version 2 is a reenergized version of the original. Originally composed in December 2020, Aubade was a response to the suffocating feelings of isolation and loneliness we all suffered together, apart. The premise was simple, and hopeful: what does freedom smell like? For me, it was running through my grandmother’s garden, rolling around in the grass, searching for bugs under rocks with a lime popsicle in hand; riding bikes with friends through forest meadows among a symphony of grasshoppers, katydids, and cicadas.

Aubade is a green garden perfume from the perspective of youth, infused with feelings of mystery and potential and discovery. Bright citrus and a complex bouquet of green tones set against a creamy background of florals, sandalwood, and vanilla. Musky, weedy, grassy notes vibrate alongside a hint of candy-like sweetness.

Aubade Batch 3 is composed of 27 botanicals in total.
